Dyssidia have been described as akin to peacocks fornicating – beautiful, but violent and unsettling. They have also been described as what one of those OG classical wig-wearin’ boys would sound like if they were alive today and had a thirst for the heavy.
Regardless of how they are described, Dyssidia has been creating thought-provoking progressive metal over their 10+ year career which has borne 3 EPs and a full-length album, 2020’s Costly Signals, with the recording of the follow-up album currently in progress.
They have supported main influences Opeth, Sikth and Between the Buried and Me to name a few, as well as toured nationally with the likes of Leprous and Caligula’s Horse.
