Celebrating his third and most flavoured album, Drugdealer is heading to Melbourne's own Corner Hotel for a show in March.
Michael Collins, aka Drugdealer, is bringing his band to Australian shores for the first time ever, including a gig at Melbourne’s own Corner Hotel on March 9. With headline shows across Australian shores, you can also catch them in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

Hot off the back of their most recent album, Hiding in Plain Sight, it was inspired by a chance encounter with the visionary artist and composer Annette Peacock at the Mexican Summer’s annual Marfa Myths Festival.
“I was so inspired by Annette,” he recalls. “I told her my plight, then I played her a song, and she told me I wasn’t singing high enough for my speaking voice.

“When I returned to L.A., I started coming up with new progressions, which I’d modulate up three half-steps. It forced me to find a new way to sing.”
Finding a new way to sing, Hiding In Plain Sight marks a distinctive turn for Michael Collins and the band, the album was written during a time spent searching for answers.
