Legendary Swedish stoner metal pioneers DOZER are making a triumphant return to Aussie soil this November, putting their foot on the gas pedal after nearly two decades since their last tour Down Under in 2004.
Brace yourselves for a riff-packed ride as DOZER hits major cities including Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne, Frankston, Canberra, Wollongong, and Sydney. Locally you’ll be able to catch them at Medusa in Geelong on November 5.

DOZER: A Sonic Odyssey Back in 1995, DOZER emerged from the depths of Borlange, Sweden, setting their sights on a promising musical journey. By 1997, the band had already graced the stages of numerous Swedish festivals and supported iconic acts like The Hellacopters and The Dictators. These early years marked the foundation of a burgeoning Stoner Rock scene that swept across Europe, giving rise to bands such as Lowrider, The Awesome Machine, Demon Cleaner, and Witchcraft.
Over the years, DOZER has crafted six albums, each a testament to their innovation and excellence. Their releases garnered critical acclaim, thrusting the band into the global spotlight. The artistry of their Stoner Rock interpretations attracted collaborations with luminaries like Neil Fallon (Clutch) and Troy Sanders (Mastodon), lending their talents to DOZER’s groundbreaking albums. The band’s connections expanded further, leading to support slots alongside heavyweights like Clutch, Mastodon, Entombed, Bongzilla, and Iggy & The Stooges.
A Flashback to 2004 In 2004, DOZER embarked on an Australian adventure, leaving a trail of sold-out 300-capacity venues in their wake. Teaming up with Aussie rockers Giants of Science, the band blazed through the east coast cities, leaving fans hungry for more of their mind-bending riffs.
Joining the tour bus for the entire journey is Melbourne’s own psychedelic renegades, “Jack Harlon & the Dead Crows,” hand-picked by Tommi Holappa, the guitarist of DOZER and Greenleaf. Merging elements of blues, stoner rock, folk, and doom metal, their distinctive sound paints vivid tales of an outlaw named Jack Harlon. Their latest album Hail To The Underground, released in 2023, further cements their spacey, genre-blurring style.
