Dopplerhaus have been described as, “like seeing Ash Ra, Agitation Free and Talking Heads all in one.”
And they are set to kick off the silly season at Old Bar with a night of hypnotic groove and sonic exploration.
They will be joined by underground legends BENG: a 4 piece experimental outfit, conceptually spreading a blend of styles from 60s rock to krautrock to spiritual jazz over the bread that is the guitar-bass-drums convention of rock music.
And the sonorous Lostii. Lostii is based in Naarm and brings dreamy trip-hop and psych flavoured offerings inspired by the likes of Radiohead, Mazzy Star, and Massive Attack with ethereal vocal harmonies, rich synth textures, and whimsical arrangements.
