The Beast in Brunswick East is gearing up to celebrate Ausmusic T-Shirt Day on Thursday, 28 November, with a day of music, merchandise, and community spirit aimed at supporting Australian musicians in need.

Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is a national initiative encouraging fans to wear band t-shirts in support of Support Act, a charity assisting musicians, crew, and music workers. The Beast is embracing the occasion with a packed program.

The event will feature band t-shirts available for purchase at discounted prices. A portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to Support Act, providing financial and emotional support to the music industry.

Live music from local talent will fill the venue, offering a free showcase of Australian artists. Adding to the festivities, guests can enjoy an official Ausmusic T-Shirt Day beer, “Distant Sun” hazy session pale (3.5%), crafted by Tallboy & Moose, which will be available on the day.

The Beast encourages attendees to wear their favourite band t-shirts to celebrate the spirit of Australian music. The event details are as follows:

  • Thursday, 28 November
  • The Beast, 80 Lygon Street, Brunswick East
  • From 12 pm onwards

For those unable to attend, there are still ways to support the cause. Donations can be made directly to Support Act via a QR code on promotional posters or through their website.

The Beast, known as Brunswick East’s local “rec room” for its relaxed vibe, stacked burgers, and quality drinks, invites the community to join in for a day of music, fun, and giving back.
