Initially inspired by hip hop, Spen began producing mix-shows for regional radio stations. He later joined The Basement Boys and laid the foundations for a career that has seen him filling dancefloors since the early ’90s. Spen also formed Jasper Street Company and currently enjoys success with the MuthaFunkaz.
