Just an hour’s drive from Melbourne and nestled among the Wombat State Forest in Blackwood, The Garden of St Erth is one of Victoria’s best cool climate gardens.

Preserved and maintained by the charitable Diggers Foundation, St Erth offers a complete garden to backyard experience and makes a great day out of town for beginner green thumbs and for the most serious of gardeners. Explore the exceptional array of rare plants, mature trees, flowers and kitchen gardens and then sample the produce in the Fork to Fork café. There’s a Diggers garden shop for you to pick up your own seeds and plants. As well as offering expert advice from the nursery, staff hold regular workshops and special events on gardening, garden crafts and sustainability. They’ve even got onsite, luxurious glamping facilities for you to stay the night and wake up in a truly magical garden.

Garden, gallery and garden shop open seven days, 9.00am — 5.00pm.

Fork to Fork is open seven days, 10.00am — 4.00pm.

Garden entry is free for Diggers Club members and under 16s, and $10 for others.
