New Blurb from Venue
The Fox Hotel in Collingwood is still holding its own after more than 11 years of operation. Original owners Bridie, Clodagh and Tracy show no signs of slowing down. The cunningly versatile pub is a modern eatery with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The comprehensive food menu includes its now famous vegetarian burrito, grass-fed porterhouse steak plus Moreton Bay Bug and Prawn Pie. Monday is $16 steak night, Tuesday is $16 parma night and Wednesday’s $16 burger night will get you over humpday. What’s more, DJs will be hitting the decks every Friday and Saturday evening. Sundays are popular for the $25 two-course roast and $15 jugs of Brunswick Bitter. Beer is revered with 100 different varieties chilled in the fridge, as well as rotating taps that showcase top local and international microbrews — from which $7 pints are poured between 3-6pm weekdays. Rain, hail or shine The Fox Hotel has it covered; pass the time in summer on the rooftop deck as DJs spin tunes, then thaw out in winter with hearty food by the fireplace.
