The Marketing Business Unit is responsible for planning and implementation of marketing campaigns for external hirers and Arts Centre Melbourne presented programming and managing marketing needs for Arts Centre Melbourne. Marketing is focussed on increasing the profile and patronage of Arts Centre Melbourne and engaging a greater and more diverse range of audiences through the delivery of targeted and integrated marketing activity. 

In this position your responsibilities will include:

• Actively contributing to the success of marketing and Arts Centre Melbourne;
• Translating design concepts into finished print ready art;
• Developing digital images and graphics for online use across web and social media platforms;
• Liaising with external design agency on delivery of design concepts;
• Developing and supporting relationships with internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
• A demonstrated experience in graphics work including development of images, graphics logos and promotional materials following a design style guide;
• Understanding of pre-press, production and printing;
• Proficient MAC operator and skilled in all aspects of Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Flash, InDesign operating systems;
• Strong HTML / CSS skills;
• Understanding of accessibility, usability and web best practices;
• Demonstrated experience in effective written communication, negotiating and problem solving;
• Ability to work within guidelines;
• Ability to plan and organise work in a timely manner;
• Attention to detail.
