Destroyer announces debut Australian tour

destroyer01.jpg

Destroyer — the critically acclaimed project of Canadian musician Dan Bejar — will head to Australia for the first time.

What’s more, Bejar will be appearing solo for a series of up-close-and-personal performances.

Destroyer’s new album ken (produced by Josh Wells of Black Mountain) was recorded in its entirety in the jam space/studio space named by the band as The Balloon Factory.

However, unlike Poison Seasonken was not recorded as a “band” record, though everyone in the band does make an appearance.  This means that Bejar will be cutting right to the core of the record with his Australian tour — stripping the album back to how it started.
