Taking its name from the comic book hoodlum-hero, Denis the Menace is the new cafe from Adam Wilkinson, formerly of Woodstock and St Edmonds. He has brought along ex-St Edmonds chef Simon Neale to take charge of the kitchen, while barista Damon Glover is in charge of all things drinkable.
The cafe has made its home in a former warehouse. It aims to marry the mischief of kids with the ambitions of adults. The space is both fun – there’s an interior forest – and sustainable, featuring solar panels, a worm farm and bio-tank.
