David Quirk: Approaching Perfection

Approaching Perfection is the new film by award-winning director David Quirk. It’s about Triple M: morality, mortality & music. A thorough collection of the finest ideas and material he could muster, written and wrangled into shape on location in Midwestern towns and cosmopolitan American cities, during a three-month sabbatical spent with bemused patrons. He dragged them through mud for his audiences, endeavouring to create a work depicting both literal and figurative darkness. This show, like Quirk himself, is approaching perfection.
