Filmed in London’s Victoria & Albert Museum on the final night of its world premiere season, the documentary takes audiences on a journey through the wildly successful exhibition. The film includes commentary from Japanese fashion designer Kansai Yamamoto, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker and other collaborators to explore stories behind some of the key objects and moving images that were used to document Bowie’s career.

Directed by award-winning director Hamish Hamilton, the documentary had its world premiere in London in 2013 and will screen across the United States in September.

David Bowie Is is the fastest selling exhibition in the Victoria & Albert Museum’s history, Melbourne will get its turn when the exhibition opens in July 2015 as part of Melbourne Winter Masterpieces.
