Daniel’s Donuts just turned Bundaberg into your new favourite summer treat

Huge news! Daniel's Donuts and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks have joined forces for a flavour collab inspired by Bundaberg's iconic brews.

Daniel’s Donuts and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks have linked up for a limited edition donut range, uh…yum!

Rolling out nationally at 7 Eleven and Daniel’s Donuts stores, the collab turns Bundaberg’s cult brews into three donut flavours. Both family-owned operations with a thing for craft and quality, the pairing makes more sense than you’d think.

Bundaberg’s been doing the rounds at Australian barbecues and beach trips since 1968, their Ginger Beer and tropical fruit brews practically synonymous with summer. Translating those flavours into donut form is exactly the kind of left-field move that actually works, especially for Aussies.

It’s a Daniel’s Donuts x Bundaberg summer

  • When: 3 December 2025 – 6 January 2026
  • Where: 7 Eleven stores nationwide and all Daniel’s Donuts stores

Daniel’s Donuts has grown a fair bit since opening its first Melbourne store back in 2016. What kicked off as a small family bakery built around founder Daniel’s Hazelnut Donut has turned into a 50-plus flavour operation spanning vegan and gluten-free options, pies, coffee and milkshakes. Now sitting at more than 40 locations nationwide plus that 7 Eleven partnership, the brand’s come a long way from its humble Melbourne start.

This summer drop includes three flavours playing directly to Bundaberg’s back catalogue. The Ginger Beer Donut comes loaded with ginger infused custard, dipped in ginger icing and finished with ginger crunch for that proper kick.

The Passionfruit Pavlova Ring Donut leans tropical with passionfruit glaze and a dusting of meringue.

Then there’s the Ginger Spiced Sugar Ring Donut, rolled in warm ginger spiced sugar that channels Bundaberg’s seasonal Spiced Ginger Beer energy.

Punters can grab the Bundaberg Inspired four pack with one of each flavour plus an extra Ginger Spiced Sugar donut, all wrapped in custom Bundaberg packaging exclusive to 7 Eleven and selected Daniel’s Donuts stores.

While everyone else doubles down on Christmas pudding and gingerbread vibes, Daniel’s Donuts and Bundaberg are taking a different route with flavours built for long summer days and spontaneous hangs. It’s refreshing to see brands skip the predictable seasonal playbook and actually try something different.

Both outfits have earned their stripes through consistently decent product rather than marketing hype, which probably explains why this feels less like a cash grab and more like two brands that genuinely get each other.

For anyone looking to switch up their summer snack rotation, this is worth checking out.
