DJ Pipe continues to make a name for himself via a string of well-received productions on Ghost Recs, Limousine Dream, Small Hours and his own Global North imprint, as well as DJ sets that combine the best in vintage UK, US and European house/techno flavours.
Originally hailing from the north-west of England, Pipe made the move to Berlin in 2014 and quickly found himself spinning at low-key spots such as Club der Visionaere and Chalet (R.I.P). After years spent absorbing the dancefloor sounds of the German capital alongside like-minded mates such as Josh Tweek, James Creed, Gene on Earth, KRN, Youandewan and Huerta, his first full EP “Clubber’s Paradise” was delivered to much acclaim in 2021 as the inaugural release on Ghost Recs.
Since then, Pipe’s gone from strength to strength with a trio of sold-out releases on his own label Global North (the latest in conjunction with hotly tipped newcomer Taslo) and dynamic and engaging DJ sets everywhere from Los Angeles to Estonia, exporting his own personal vision of house music: imbued with warmth, character and that all-important swing.
