Runners and spectators alike will be treated to tunes from folk-pop group Custom Kings, who are fresh from touring their critically acclaimed second album, Great Escape.
Custom Kings will be performing on the main stage at Federation Square (the assembly area for all races). To keep participants motivated along the track, acclaimed Melbourne acts Cold Hiker, Sarah McNamara (MacAtk), Heartless Vendetta, Patrick Roberts and The Tropea Project will be pumping out the perfect mix of tracks to keep the adrenaline pumping.
Last year, 17,665 runners and walkers raised an incredible $1,071,962 for more than 200 charities. That’s right, runners can choose which charity receives their run funds.
This year the fundraising target is a whopping $1.5 million.
