The latest season features luminaries Dan Harmon, Jad Abumrad, Stan Grant, Peter Greste, Caroline Wilson, Masha Gessen, Matthew Reilly, Gary Foley, Deng Adut, Stephanie Alexander, and many more.

The Emmy Award-winning TV writer Dan Harmon is well known for creating cult comedy shows such as Community and Rick and Morty. Recently, he’s turned his attention to his live comedy show Harmontown. He’ll be heading our way for a fast and unruly night of comedy for one night only on Friday December 16.

Sally Warhaft, Don Watson, Crispin Rovere, Ben Eltham, Jess McGuire and Sophie Black will recap the highs and lows of the US election, as well as offering some up-to-the-minute coverage as America casts its vote. Good Morning America: The Election As It Happens on Wednesday November 9 will be blowing up baloons as we head towards the (possible) apocalypse.

Elsewhere, The Show of the Year 2016 will bring together Geraldine Quinn, Deborah Conway, Willy Zygier, Osamah Sami, Geraldine Hickey, Cal Wilson and more to look back at the year that was. Bent Merriment: Queer Comedy hosted by Tom Ballard will be bringing the laughs, while US marriage equality campaigner Jim Obergefell will join four revered local activists – Elaine Pearson, Gary Foley, Tess Lawley and Amelia Telford – to discuss the prospect of political change in the 21st century.

Further highlights include Australian journalist Peter Greste discussing his story of 400 days trapped in an Egyptian prison, Australian comedy act Tripod celebrating 20 years, blockbuster action author Matthew Reilly discussing his craft, and a look at how the proliferation of pornography is affection Australians today.
