The Light The Nitro Tour does what it says on the tin, taking the venerable rockers on their biggest tour in over 30 years.
Initial plans for a comeback were put on hold after the passing of drummer Steve Prestwich at the start of the year. Taking his place upon the throne will be renowned drummer Charley Drayton (Keith Richards, B52s). One fifth of all tour profits will go directly to Prestwich’s family.
In a big news day, the band have announced that they will be playing a track or two on the tour from an upcoming studio album, which is ready to be mixed and released sometime next year.
Also, the band’s entire back catalogue is now hitting the stores in remastered form, as well as being prepared to hit digital retailers for the first time ever.
