CLUB RIOT queer alternative music party, is bringing on a huge 1st Birthday celebration this Saturday, 27 July at Laundry Bar as a part of Leaps and Bounds Festival. Following a sold-out last party, CLUB RIOT continues its mission of providing a vibrant space for the LGBTQIA+ community to come together, make noise, and celebrate.
Launching last year for Leaps and Bounds, CLUB RIOT has grown into a staple in the Melbourne queer scene. The anniversary event promises an unforgettable night packed with stellar performances from some of Melbourne’s best queer bands and DJs. The lineup is headlined by Melbourne queer royalty, bubblegum punks Cry Club, with warm up sets from favourite up & comers Hot Machine, OH! Daisy, and TILE. And of course, it wouldn’t be a party without house DJ Lady Diet Coke spinning all your favorite alt, emo, and queer bangers on the decks.
CLUB RIOT is a celebration of community and a platform for alternative LGBTQIA+ voices. Over the past year, it has become a cornerstone for queer alt music lovers in Melbourne, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome to express themselves freely and enjoy incredible music.
