In what may just be the ultimate punk rock news, Melbourne’s Clowns have taken out first place in the Mr Chili Hot Sauce Awards’ Tabasco category with their hot sauce, ‘May I Be Extinguished’.
You may be wondering how we got to this point. Well, the outfit recently paired up with Gold Coast-based, family owned hot sauce company Punk Rock Peppers to craft a condiment as saucy and hot as their forthcoming album, NATURE/NURTURE.
Turns out Clowns know their way around the kitchen because their sauce took out first place in the nationwide competition. Pwoah. ‘May I Be Extinguished’ is sadly a limited product, so if you want to start a fire in your mouth with your favourite punks – you’d best get in quick. Rumour has it the sauce tastes even better if eaten will listening to NATURE/NURTURE.
