Clint Mansell issued the following statement:
“Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, it is with a heavy heart that I now can’t make my show in Melbourne on Friday 17th. Please accept my most sincere apologies. I will reschedule as soon as possible.”
Melbourne Festival Creative Director, Josephine Ridge also expressed her regret at Mansell not being able to perform as planned:
“We were very excited about Clint performing live with us in Melbourne and look forward to announcing a rescheduled date for the concert as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to audience members.”
