Client Liaison replace San Cisco at Party In The Apocalypse

Client Liaison

Tasmania's hottest new festival Party In The Apocalypse will now add Client Liaison to their packed lineup, after indie-darlings San Cisco were forced to pull out.

Glam-electronic powerhouses Client Liaison will be bringing their off-white limousine to PITA next week, fresh off their very impressive new release Divine Intervention, which drew a rave review when we chucked it on a couple of months ago.

Duo Harvey Miller and Monte Morgan describe their music as a mixture of dance electric, new jack swing and pop ballad but it’s usually a full-throttle party wherever they’re involved.

“We are very very sorry, but we cannot make it to Tasmania for Party In The Apocalypse in Launceston,” San Cisco said.

“Unfortunately our very tough Premier has decided that all people traveling to Tasmania will now have to quarantine on return to WA. This is impossible for the band to undertake with the expense of quarantine and how it affects our plans for the first part of January.

“We are wishing the organisers and all the punters an amazing event, and we are pleased to know that the very fun Client Liaison will be filling our spot, we know they’ll do an incredible job! Lots of love, San Cisco.”

PITA’s Artistic Director Jesse Higgs said that the festival is excited to have Liaison return. “We’re all fans of the band here and ever since their epic performance at PITP 2018, we’ve been excited to have them back,” he said.

“It’s really hard for all those affected by interstate border restrictions, so we understand the difficulties artists have faced with touring this year and we can’t wait to welcome San Cisco back soon.”

Meanwhile, the Client lads, who are joined by ex Triple J presenter Tom Tilley on bass when they play live, said they were gearing up for a special send-off for 2021.

“Tasmania we’re jumping on the Spirit (Spirit of Tasmania) – That’s right, we are the very special guests for ‘Party In The Apocalypse’ December 28th, so come on DDDD-DOWN…”
