The platinum-selling and Grammy-nominated singer and actor Chris Isaak will return to Australia for the first time since 2016.

The maestro is making a triumphant return to Australia and New Zealand, for an electrifying series of “In Concert” performances, including a series of concerts at a day on the green this April.

Kicking off on April 4 at Perth’s Kings Park and Botanic Garden, Isaak will weave his sonic magic through iconic venues, including the State Theatre in Sydney on April 10, the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on April 16, and the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington on April 22. The tour will reach its crescendo at the Spark Arena in Auckland on April 24.

Making a very welcome return to a day on the green with his In Concert tour, Isaak will perform at Geelong’s Mt Duneed Estate on Saturday 6 April; Barossa Valley’s Peter Lehmann Wines on Sunday 7 April (only South Australian show); Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley on Saturday 13 April; Centennial Vineyards, Bowral on Sunday 14 April; and Sirromet Wines, Mount Cotton on Saturday 20 April (only Queensland show).

Chris Isaak himself can hardly contain his excitement, “I am sitting on my front porch in Nashville, Tennessee and smiling. I have been stuck in my house for 9 days because of the snow. But I have been in a great mood as I know I’m going back to Australia! I think it’s my favourite place to tour… or just hang out. I’m so ready! Bring on the sun! Bring on the beach! I think I’m gonna wax my guitar…. I told you I was excited!”

Joining the legendary crooner at a day on the green will be very special guests Boy & Bear, Mark Seymour & The Undertow (excluding Vic), Vika & Linda, Ella Hooper (Vic only) and Mason Watts (QLD only).

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Isaak, along with his long-time band Silvertone, has left an indelible mark on the global music scene. He’s not just a singer; he’s a musical force, with thirteen studio albums, twelve chart-topping singles, and a filmography that includes classics like The Silence of the Lambs and That Thing You Do!

In Australia, Isaak’s chart-topping success is no secret. With 12 Top 20 albums, including the stellar #1 set, Best of Chris Isaak (May 2006), and three Top 3 albums, he’s become a household name. His Top 20 singles, including Somebody’s Crying, Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing, and the timeless Wicked Game, are the stuff of legends, racking up more than half a billion streams on Spotify alone.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 2 February at 11.00am local time via Ticketmaster.
