A highlight of Chillin’ In Banyule is the event’s use of unexpected places as music venues, including locally-owned restaurants, cafes, bars and even the public library. This gives punters the chance to explore their neighbourhood, grab a bite and a few drinks and make new connections.
Chic Italian eatery Joia Cucina, Americana BBQ joint The Bearded Pig, tasting room and bottle-o Imbue Gin Distillery and cozy eatery Cinnamon Grove Cafe are only a few of the spaces set to host gigs over the course of the festival.
The lineup this year doesn’t hold back either, featuring producer and hula hoopist Ming Ming, acoustic duo Full Moon Suns, multi-instrumentalist Pablo Naranjo, indie rockers Things We Built, LGBTQIA+ artist Darcy Fox, folk-pop singer Sage Marie and so many more.
