The Leadbeater Hotel is expecting a massive night on November 24, considering the entire venue will have a different act for each section. The variety of this night is huge, spanning from indie rock to experimental EDM. There will truly be a smorgasbord of choices.
Ramona Sky are bringing their funk influence to the table, the Melbourne band being the highly anticipated headliner of the night. Colourful, bright clean guitar strumming sits in tangent with soulful vocals that search endlessly. Truly taking the funk influence to heart, the bass is also a standout. It sneaks around the background and elongates the fretboard of the band, wiring more space for the regimented guitar and vocals.
Another fantastic addition to the line-up is the angelic sound of singer-songwriter Maddy Petch. Her indie folk-styled sound is encompassed by the surfy twang of a space-inducing guitar, and her strumming on an acoustic to keep the heart beating on her tracks. Delving into honest and storytelling-based lyrics, she’s more proof that this mini-festival has it all.
The Leadbeater kicks off this festival from 6pm and is expecting a massive turnout, so if you were interested please find more information and ticketing here.
