Cherry Bar, Melbourne's iconic hub for music lovers, presents its first-ever art exhibition. Portrait paintings of rock 'n' roll greats on stage!

On November 11, from 2pm to 5pm, as we unveil the electrifying Live On The Wall by up and coming local artist, Claire Bradley.

Live On The Wall goes beyond traditional portraits; it’s a vibrant celebration of rock ‘n’ roll. With 14 captivating portrait paintings, Claire’s passion for faces, skin, and the raw emotion from a live show is beautifully encapsulated in each stroke. Showing the wrinkles, sweat, and stage lights that define a live performance. “I want people to feel like they’re right there in the crowd, at the show, surrounded by the music and the energy,” Bradley said.

Prepare for an immersive event like no other. Live On The Wall will engage all your senses. A custom scent from specially crafted candles will help guide you into another world. The decks will be set ablaze with DJ Mermaid, Melbourne’s most revered rock DJs, unleashing the music from the artists adorning the walls.

Claire’s fiancé, Joel O’Keeffe, lead singer of international hard rock sensation Airbourne, will be there in support. “After touring the world for 18 years now and being lucky enough to share the stage with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Metallica and Motorhead, to name a few. It’s really something magical to see Claire bring these rock ‘n’ roll icons to life. I’m so proud of her, and I’m so pumped up for Melbourne to see her art rockin’ on the walls at my second home, the iconic Cherry Bar.”

Live On The Wall is not just an exhibition; it’s a celebration of rock ‘n’ roll culture and its enduring impact. Best of all, entry is free. So, gather your friends, fellow music enthusiasts, and anyone who believes in the power of rock ‘n’ roll, and let’s make this event an unforgettable experience.

Claire is a passionate animal lover and rescue dog advocate. A portion of sales made on the day will be donated to Victorian Dog Rescue, a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity entirely run by volunteers, whose goal is to stop the killing in pounds and shelters, to help companion animals in need.
