Charlie Lane plays Tanswell’s Hotel on the 14th of June to kick off the start of her mid year tour.
Lane’s sound has been described as “edgy indie pop, spooky and new wave”. Charlie is known to also dabble into folk and blues. Charlie’s known for her self-aware lyricism and her way of bringing a sense of almost tragic nostalgia to her audience juxtaposed with uplifting, fun melodies and a bubbly presence. Lane released her album ‘I’m Okay Now but I Wasn’t’ last year which is an autobiographical and therapeutic collection of songs that tell her unique story as a person living with a disability.
