Laneway Festival 2026 delivers the goods with Chappell Roan finally making her Australian debut this summer alongside Alex G, The Dare and so many more.

Australia and New Zealand’s beloved tastemaker festival turns 21 this year and celebrates with a lineup packed with dream debuts, long-awaited returns and Laneway-only exclusives. Chappell Roan tops the bill for Laneway Festival 2026, alongside Alex G, The Dare and heaps more, bringing her iconic gothic fairytale production down under for a full 90-minute spectacle that marks her first-ever national Australian tour.

Mercury Prize winners Wolf Alice return to Laneway Festival 2026 for an exclusive performance, joined by a stellar run of festival-only acts. Role Model brings heartfelt anthems, PinkPantheress delivers genre-bending internet-pop brilliance, and Wet Leg serves up tongue-in-cheek indie chaos. Swedish rap legends Yung Lean and Bladee unite for a rare collaborative performance exclusive to Laneway stages.

Sharp-eyed storyteller Lucy Dacus joins the lineup alongside indie cult hero Alex G, Kiwi superstar BENEE, bedroom-pop genius Cavetown, LA folk-psych favourites Mt Joy and New York’s unapologetic dancefloor starter The Dare. Rising voices Malcolm Todd, Oklou, Jensen McRae, Geese, Wisp and Gigi Perez continue Laneway’s tradition of introducing future stars first.

Local talent holds strong with Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Shady Nasty, Armlock, The Belair Lip Bombs and Djanaba bringing their unique energy to stages across the country. With 35 per cent more artists than previous years, a brand new East Coast stage and a third of the lineup making their Australian debut, this year’s festival reaches new heights.

Pre-sale tickets through Afterpay launch Tuesday 23 September with staggered release times across each city. General on-sale follows Wednesday 24 September from 10am AEST, with full ticketing information available at lanewayfestival.com.
