Big Cake brings together some of Melbourne's most well-known bakers in support of a good cause.
Mark your calendars and satisfy your sweet tooth for a cause at HER Melbourne this Sunday, November 19, as the venue plays host to a Big Cake: a delectable bake sale in support of Foodbank Victoria.
Kicking off at 9:30am, this indulgent event promises a unique array of treats crafted by some of Melbourne’s finest pastry chefs.

For the ticket price of $10, attendees can indulge in a one-time-only creation whipped up by renowned bakers, all while contributing to the vital mission of Foodbank Victoria, a state-wide charity that focuses on ending hunger.
Each additional pastry costs $10 more, with a limit of four per guest. $5 from each baked good sold will directly support Foodbank Victoria, while the remaining $5 goes to the participating bakers to cover costs. There will be a limited number of each dessert available on the day, so head in early to make sure you get your hands on your top choice.

The Big Cake lineup boasts an impressive roster of talent, featuring Julia Busuttil Nishimura of Around the Table, Raymond Tan of Raya, Helly Raichura of Enter Via Laundry, Stephannie Liu of Julie, Patti Chimkire of Mali Bakes, Gareth Whitton of Tarts Anon, Zee Scott of Zee Bakes, Jessamie Holmes of Thy Caketh, Charlie Duffy of Small Batch, and more.
To get your mouths watering, here’s a taste of what’ll be on offer: Seville orange shortbread with wild fennel buttercream, chocolate and passion fruit checkerboard cake and mini vanilla bundt cakes with lemon and chamomile soak, lemon curd, and blackberry and olive oil buttercream. We told you this wasn’t your average bake sale!
