What’s more, Cups n Cones will be on site, slinging free ice cream for the first 150 guests at each event from 7:30pm onward.
Starting on February 9, as part of the expansive Midsumma Festival, fans can hear a celebration of the music of legendary queer icons, including George Michael, ABBA, David Bowie and many more performed by LGBTQIA+ musicians and allies.
On Valentine’s Day, the event will take a romantic turn, featuring soul classics performed by TINO. Drawing inspiration from his Samoan heritage and passion for gospel, TINO is sure to set the mood for a night that will please even the pickiest of partners. Grab a bouquet of flowers and call it V-Day, sorted.
To round out the series, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jarryd James will be taking the stage. The two-time ARIA award winner and Brisbane native will fill the evening with cruisy, RnB-inspired alternative pop. His airy falsetto and catchy songwriting is expected to make for a popular event, so we suggest getting in early to secure a good spot.
If the Candlelight Concert series has you hooked, Fever, the entertainment company behind the magic, hosts similar events all year long, so take a browse through their extensive calendar to find out what artists they’re featuring next.
