The iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl will soon be ablaze with the warm glow of candles as Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, presented by AAMI, returns this Christmas Eve, promising a night of heartwarming festivities and music. This cherished Christmas tradition, now in its remarkable 86th year, is not just an enchanting spectacle but also Australia’s largest annual fundraiser for children who are blind or have low vision.

The roots of Carols by Candlelight trace back to 1938, evolving into a beloved institution that has captured the hearts of audiences for generations. Beyond the captivating performances, this event serves a profound purpose – all proceeds contribute to services for children with vision impairment.
The star-studded line-up will include new addition Paul Kelly, headlining a mix of familiar and new talent taking to the stage to perform everyone’s favourite Christmas songs and carols. Notable names such as Casey Donovan, Denis Walter, Marina Prior, David Hobson, Simon Gleeson, and Silvie Paladino are set to grace the stage, with more exciting additions to be unveiled in November.
