The acclaimed Canadian electronic icons have just announced their long-awaited return to Australian shores this December.
Hot off the announcement that Caribou are set perform the Saturday night headlining slot at Meredith Music Festival, the Canadian electronic band are heading on an east coast tour of Australia in December. It’s the world-renowned dance act’s first Australian visit since 2015 – the group will be performing at The Forum in Melbourne on December 11. The tour is in support of their 2020 album, Suddenly.

Their Australian tour follows a European summer of major festival appearances including Glastonbury, Pukkelpop, Lowlands and more. They’re currently set to perform at upcoming slots at the Hollywood Bowl and New York’s Summer Sound Stage.
Bursting with characteristic warmth and colour, Caribou’s 2020 release Suddenly featured nu-soul classic ‘Home’ and house anthem ‘Never Come Back’. With the album landing on numerous year-end lists and saw Caribou’s global following reaching even greater heights.

“We’ve been waiting so long to come down to Australia again – we’ve been planning this tour since early 2020 and we’ve always had amazing shows in Australia,” Caribou say of their highly-anticipated return.
“But it’s been over 7 years since we’ve come down! We’ve been dying to do Meredith in particular for ages – Kieran (Four Tet) has been telling me we have to do it for years.”
