Through photography and new media, artists and activists Kelly Hussey-Smith and Erin Burnett reveal the relationship between humans and animals in the entertainment and food industries.
Where Kelly is concerned with examining the complex relationship between humans and other animals, she is specifically interested in exploring how and why we selectively apply compassion in different contexts and circumstances. Erin’s work seeks to reveal the extent at which humans consume animals, whether it be for ‘sport’, recreation, food or entertainment.
The exhibition will truly be an insight into a topic that has otherwise never been analysed in such a context.
