The Midsumma programming
Late Night Vice bills itself as Melbourne’s new after-hours escape, blending cabaret with late-night chaos. The show mixes theatrical performances with cocktails and creates an environment where cabaret conventions get pushed sideways.
Rooftop Piano Bar: Hosted by Tina Del Twist runs every Friday and Saturday throughout Midsumma. Tina Del Twist hosts the cabaret and comedy cocktail hour, bringing guest performers to the rooftop space for a mix of music, comedy and theatrical entertainment. The format centres around Tina’s hosting skills while showcasing different artists each week.
Freak Out the Afterparty fuses drag, burlesque, circus and cabaret with a 90s house and club anthem soundtrack. The late-night variety show removes the traditional separation between performers and audience, creating an immersive party atmosphere. Acts include choreography, comedy and circus skills from international entertainers.
New Year’s Eve goes Latin
Viva La Fiesta NYE transforms the venue into a Latin carnival for New Year’s Eve, offering views of Melbourne’s fireworks while DJs and performers deliver a night of rhythm and culture under the stars. The celebration leans into Latin music traditions while providing prime positioning for the city’s midnight pyrotechnics.

The existing lineup continues
Blanc de Blanc Encore continues in the spiegeltent until 1 February 2026, delivering its established mix of French glamour, circus acts and cabaret entertainment. The show has been running throughout the summer season.
Maho Magic Bar returns after its 2023 Melbourne debut. The Japanese magic show features sleight-of-hand specialists performing close-up magic in an intimate setting while guests drink cocktails. The performers put contemporary spins on magic traditions dating back to Japan’s Edo period, creating a neon-lit Tokyo atmosphere inside the venue.

Vaudeville Smash’d holds its Saturday night residency in the spiegeltent’s late-night slot until 6 December. The show combines music, comedy and cabaret with vintage vaudeville aesthetics mixed with disco and funk influences.
Spiegel Haus Melbourne’s role as official Midsumma artist bar means the venue becomes a central meeting point for performers throughout the festival. The designation connects the spiegeltent directly to Midsumma’s broader programming while maintaining its own distinct show schedule.
