Smack in the middle of their Northcote residency Buchanan are having a night out, support Western Australia’s Tim & Jean.
Coming somewhere out of Melbourne and almost directly into stardom Victorian boys Buchanan have scored another support slot worthy of praise. Without even a debut EP to their name Buchanan have been wowing crowds with their live show alone.
But with five star reviews from the triple j music director and an opening slot at the Melbourne Laneway Festival this doesn’t appear to have bothered them. And now with good airplay on their single Teachers and an April residency at the Northcote Social Club every Tuesday the Buchanans are on their way up.
The debut EP from Buchanan No Photo is released April 29 via Inertia Records. Tim & Jean are playing this Saturday April 16 at the Toff In Town but tickets are sold out.
