They say there's no such thing as a free lunch – well, this time they're wrong.

Look sharp and stay hungry, because for two hours this Sunday, the fan-favourite Lebanese bakery will be dishing out free wraps for all.

On November 5 from 10am to noon, stop by the Sydney Road location to get your hands on a mouth-watering wrap courtesy of the A1 Bakery and Adidas Originals.

  • Sunday, November 5 from 10am to 12pm
  • 643-645 Sydney Rd, Brunswick VIC

Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around Melbourne here.

So, what’s the catch you ask? There really isn’t one, other than the fact that it’s limited to one wrap per person (don’t get greedy now). Wait in the queue, choose from juicy, tender chicken or their famous crispy falafel, and enjoy your feed.

For the first three weeks of this month, Adidas Originals is partnering with beloved small businesses, creators and artisans for its Always Originals series to give out a little local love across Melbourne and Sydney.

Obviously, the A1 Bakery would be an easy choice – since opening in 1992, the shop has gained a cult-like following thanks to its impressive array of pies, pitas breads and Lebanese pizzas.

It now has three locations across the city (although the Brunswick location will be the only one giving out the free wraps). Word on the street is even Kanye West can’t resist the savoury delights.

Always Originals will feature a few other free pop-ups in town as well. On November 11, Migrant Coffee will be throwing a block party in Footscray called Blessed By The West which will feature DJs, special guests and a mega BBQ.

Also on November 11, Adidas is partnering with Good Sport for a Go-Sees portrait photo shoot with photographer Ben Clement complete with hair and makeup. On November 12, they’ll be bringing together plants, people and food for workshops and a festive celebration at Collingwood House hosted by Xflos.

We recommend RSVPing so you don’t miss out. To find out more about Always Originals, head here.
