Brunswick Music Festival returns in 2026 with new programmer MzRizk seeking creative proposals from independent artists.

Expressions of interest are now open for Naarm’s longest-running inner-city music festival, which will return from 1-8 March 2026. Brunswick Music Festival kicks off with the Sydney Road Street Party on Sunday, 1 March, followed by a week of non-stop live music across Brunswick, Brunswick East and Brunswick West.

New programmer MzRizk brings a global CV including Glastonbury, WOMADelaide and collaborations with Chaka Khan and Nile Rodgers. Her vision focuses on creating a vibrant, inclusive program that reflects the cultural richness of the area while amplifying underrepresented voices, building on her long-standing relationship with BMF including producing events like Golden Threads.
