Close out Now or Never the right way.
On August 31, the last day of winter and the last day of Now or Never 2024, Section 8 is throwing a day party for the ages. From 3pm to 1am, the event brings some of Melbourne’s finest First Nations artists and creatives to the floor for a day full of live music, DJs and expression.
Curated by Section 8 in partnership with the iconic Melbourne streetwear brand Brothaboy, the party features a lineup of some of the freshest local acts a fan could ask for. Plus, as always, it’s free.

DJ Kidd Benny is set to ignite the dancefloor with his signature fusion of RnB, hip hop and island reggae. Hailing from the east coast of Australia, he’s proved his skills on stages alongside icons like Sean Kingston, Justice Crew, Savage and many more.
Elsewhere on the lineup, find the hip hop group Yung Warriors, Brisbane-born, Melbourne-based rapper Kaylah Truth and Melbourne party starter Soju Gang. The tunes will be bumping from the afternoon to late into the night, and we guarantee this is going to be a hot one, so rock up early if you don’t want to get stuck in the line.
Now or Never, running from August 22 to 31, is set to awaken the city from end to end with experimental and eclectic performances, raves at the Royal Exhibition Building and free art installations. After a busy festival, we can’t think of a better way to wind down (or go out with a bang) than an all-day bash at Section 8.
With a fine selection of taps and cocktails and a pristine indoor-outdoor setting, Section 8 is the place to be now that the weather’s taken a turn for the better. Brothaboy Dardy Vibez promises to be an unforgettable celebration of culture, community and good times all around.
