Following a sold-out run of shows in the UK and Europe, the artists will soon embark on a a short-but-sweet Australian headline tour.
Grab your black eyeliner, because the rapidly rising Manchester duo Hot Milk will be bringing their distinct brand of power-pop to two lucky Australian venues this December.
They’ll be starting out with a performance at Melbourne’s Gasometer Hotel before heading up to Sydney for a night at Mary’s Underground.

Members Hannah Mee and Jim Shaw met on Tinder. After being together for four years, they eventually split up but remained friends and started making music together in 2018.
The group quickly received praise for their relentless energy and emotional songwriting, filling a void for fans of the Y2K pop punk scene. They played their first live show as an opener for You Me At Six and have since secured spots at globally renowned festivals including Reading and Leeds, The Great Escape and Download.
Hot Milk’s viral 2019 single Candy Coated Lies was later remixed by Bink 182 alumn Hark Hoppus, who lent the duo his bass guitar during the writing process of their 2022 EP The King and Queen of Gasoline.
Just this week, the band dropped their debut full-length album A Call To The Void, which was preceded by its singles Horror Show, Party On My Deathbed, Bloodstream and Breathing Underwater.
“Live is where I’m happiest, live is where it’s home,” says Hannah. “We wrote songs with the intention of people going off, making you feel good, opening the pit up, letting go, crying, getting on your mate’s shoulders. It’s been like, ‘What do people want to feel at a show? It’s church for us.”
Fans can also catch Hot Milk when they open for the Foo Fights on their Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane dates.
