Sophie McCartney herself shared her excitement, stating, “I can’t wait to kick off the Aussie leg of the tour! That said, I will be carting three under 10s half way round the world on a plane… so expect me to be incredibly tired and tested when I get to you.”

She joked, “I may have to change the name of the show to ‘Sedated and Sectioned’. I’m sure it’ll be fine… 23 hours will fly by.”

Reflecting on her first-time performance down under, Sophie added, “I have been ‘down under’ once before, in my twenties, but this will be my first time performing here – which I’m ‘stoked’ about. You guys are so chilled and up for a good time – it’s going to be great!”

Sophie McCartney’s ‘Tired and Tested’ promises a hilarious exploration of parenthood, from perky tits to killing nits. The audience can expect a rollicking journey through the highs and lows of adulting, as Sophie navigates the challenges of being a mum-of-three with her trademark wit and candid humour.

Liverpool-born Sophie McCartney has carved a name for herself in the comedy world, winning the ‘Funny Women Award’ for ‘Best Comedy Series’ in 2020. Her debut UK stand-up comedy tour in 2023 sold out in less than 24 hours, making it the fastest-selling debut tour for a female comedian ever. McCartney’s popularity extends beyond the stage; she’s a double Sunday Times Number One Bestselling author and the host of the podcast ‘Tired and Tested with Sophie McCartney’, offering her followers weekly musings on motherhood and more.

After a decade-long career in PR, Sophie shifted her focus to comedy in 2017, captivating audiences with her unfiltered take on parenting and life as a millennial. Now, she’s bringing her infectious energy and sharp humour to audiences in Australia and New Zealand.
