Headlining the day are Sydney indie-folk favourites Boy & Bear, whose warm, harmony-rich sound has soundtracked Australian summers for over 15 years. Formed in 2009 as a solo project for frontman Dave Hosking, the five-piece – known for lush folk-rock anthems and intricate live arrangements – recently released their sixth album Tripping Over Time, continuing their evolution from breakthrough debut Moonfire to seasoned festival mainstays.

Joining them are Melbourne’s own rising stars The Belair Lip Bombs. Hailing from Frankston, the four-piece deliver infectious indie rock with surf-punk energy and sharp songwriting. Fresh off their acclaimed second album Again on Third Man Records, Maisie Everett and crew bring raw, feel-good garage rock that has quickly made them one of the most exciting live bands on the Victorian circuit.

Adding soulful warmth to the bill is Jacoténe, the Melbourne singer-songwriter turning heads with her rich, timeless voice. Still in her early twenties, the R&B and soul talent first broke through after winning triple j Unearthed High and has since built a devoted following with hypnotic, emotionally charged tracks that blend vulnerability and groove.

Local spotlight shines on emerging Traralgon talent Dane Nicholls ahead of his debut album release, ensuring the day stays rooted in Gippsland pride. In between sets, punters can explore Traralgon’s food and drink scene, making it the ultimate regional day out.

Following the huge success of Melbourne Vibes, this regional series continues to bring quality live music to country Victoria.
