Bob and Mal Sedergreen are well known jazz and blues identities in Melbourne’s live music scene. Both have performed locally and internationally at concerts and major jazz festivals.
Ivan Rosa is an experienced, driving and empathetic bassist whose association with Bob, spans decades, involving many live gigs, residencies and recordings. Mark Voogd is a popular drummer due to his ability to handle most musical situations but especially his affinity of propulsive jazz time a la Jimmy Cobb. Bob’s special guest, Rohan Wallis is, perhaps one of Melbourne’s most eclectic musicians. A handy trumpeter/flugelhornist, a swinging and relaxed vocal delivery and in demand DJ.
Tucked underneath a cinema screen and down a narrow stairway, the Lido Jazz Room boasts live Jazz weekly from the best jazz players in town on Friday and Saturday nights, 8pm – 10pm.
