Blue Windows

A FREE event of indie-folk-pop tunes from Melbourne-based singer-songwriters Blue Windows supported by Leo Nazz.

Blue Windows growth is on an ever-increasing trajectory. With roots in the UK, Netherlands and Australia, the band members combine folk-fun and heart-warming tunes, spiced up with a dash of country, folk-pop and bluesy tones.
They capture their audiences with quirky themes and perspectives highlighting their song writing style. Using personal experiences as a source of inspiration for their latest album Borders, Monday Mornings in May entered the Top 30 of the Australian Songwriter’s competition.

Combining melodic tunes with insightful captures of human behaviour, their songs are intimate, warm and inspired by artists such as Paul Kelly, Jonatha Brooke, Kristina Olsen and The Waifs.

Blue Windows supported Alex Smith from Moving Pictures and have played many venues around Geelong, Bellarine, the Surf Coast and Melbourne such as the Workers Club, The Wesley Anne, The Tramways Hotel and the Door Gallery Café.
The bands chemistry comes from over a decade of friendship and music comradery. Hailing from Torquay, Drysdale and Melbourne, Blue Windows are independent artists supporting Australian craftsmanship to help produce their two albums to date.

Leo Nazz is a country/folk rock singer-songwriter. With his trusty guitar and harmonica, Leo shares his stories with an open heart, bridging the gap between imagery and lyricism. Connecting through the dark times of life, Leo tries to bring a glimmer of light and hope.
