While some sources are indicating indoor density restrictions won't end until April 12, shows are still happening with increasing confidence, and bands and artists can slowly start to get back to normal.
While there’s a shitload more to overcome before we can get local or international shows back on our stages and in our favourite indoor venues, there’s some amazing local musos playing some killer gigs this month that are worth checking out.
Rap
Bliss N Eso

Bliss n Eso are one of Australia’s most prolific rap groups, having been around for over 20 years and releasing a plethora of well received albums that have garnered APRA, ARIA, and Music Victoria awards. Their music has been critically acclaimed for its amazing mix of Aussie vibes with old school rap.
They’ll be hitting the Forum stage later this month in support of their amazing new album The Sun.

Tropical Fuck Storm

Tropical Fuck Storm is made up of some of Australia’s most iconic performers, Erica Dunn, Lauren Hammel, Fiona Kitschin and Gareth Liddiard. Their amazing chemistry has created some iconic albums and indescribable live energy, which continues to their most recent album, Deep States.
The album was released last year, but due to lockdowns and border closures, their upcoming Forum show will mark one of the first times they are able to tour it.

Ian Moss

You won’t find a group who work as hard as FINN, their amazing work is distinct, detailed and is some of the best you’ll find in Melbourne. Their recent release Stonewalling is a great contrast of Blues, Rock, with some amazing old school vibes.

Stacked As Festival

It feels like it’s been too long since we’ve had a metal festival happening in Melbourne, but thanks to the team at Destroy All Lines, you don’t have to wait that much longer.
They’re introducing the Stacked As tour, which is a mini festival travelling to different points across Australia. It’s a display of some of the best up and comers in the punk and metal world. It will feature music from groups such as Drastic Park, Wishful Thinking, Clay J Gladstone, Catholic Guilt and Cheap Date.
On top of Melbourne, Stacked As will be heading to Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney. Tickets are a bargain too, and you can grab them here.
