Blakout: Jessie Lloyd

Jessie Lloyd is a powerful Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musician, cultural historian, and songkeeper, dedicated to preserving and sharing Indigenous voices through music. Her passion for storytelling and cultural revival plays a strong role in her work. As part of the inaugural Blakout series, Jessie brings her incredible storytelling and musical talent to the stage, offering a soulful cultural experience.

Jessie Lloyd’s music is deeply evocative, blending traditional Indigenous sounds with powerful storytelling.

Jessie Lloyd’s work transcends generations, fusing historical research with contemporary performance to bring Indigenous narratives to life.
