The Dutch trio started making drum and bass in 1995 and from there they have now established themselves as one of the biggest acts with three record labels to keep them busy; Black Sun Empire Recordings, oBSEssions and Shadows of the Empire.
While Black Sun Empire have usually defined themselves as darkstep or neurofunk, the release of their new album has seen the incorporation of dubstep and the defining of a new sound. Fans have waited two years for From The Shadows and the reviews suggests their patience wasn’t in vain.
