Fortitude Valley’s music industry market extravaganza, BIGSOUND, and this week announced a second round of speakers, adding to an already stacked lineup of industry professionals.
Leading the charge is artist manger extraordinaire Simon Napier-Bell, who’s managed the likes of Wham!, Yardbirds, Marc Bolan and Boney M to name a few, will be in town on the back of Netflix documentary WHAM!. Napier-Bell is an artist manager, author, songwriter and director for the stars, and has a lot to offer in his in-conversation appearance.

BIGSOUND have also announced Grammy award winning English composer Simon Franglen as a guest speaker, Franglen having worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Barbra Streisand, and Quincy Jones to name a few in music, as well as Titanic, Avatar, Moulin Rouge!, Se7en, The Amazing Spider-Man, Space Jam and Cool Runnings in the film world.
Not to be content with just this, BIGSOUND will also have appearances from Cockenflap Festival’s Cora Chan, ATC Live’s Caitlin Ballard and president of Sub Pop Records Tony Kiewel. Joining them is Cameron Kaiser, CAA Agent for the likes of Doja Cat, A$AP Rocky, Christina Aguilera, Troye Sivan, Wu Tang Clan, Public Enemy and more.
