Australia's premier music industry event BIGSOUND has unveiled its complete program for 2025.
The southern hemisphere’s loudest week in music will transform Fortitude Valley into a bustling hub of talent discovery and industry networking from 2-5 September. BIGSOUND 2025 promises an unprecedented scale with 130 bands, 100 industry speakers, 70 conference sessions and workshops spread across 18 stages.
BIGSOUND 2025 will showcase what organisers describe as the future of music during evening festival performances, while daytime conference sessions will feature industry professionals sharing knowledge across all facets of the music business. The event combines thought leadership opportunities with extensive networking possibilities for delegates and artists alike.

The special events lineup includes several standout occasions designed to bring the music community together. The Live Nation ONES TO WATCH Showcase will highlight emerging talent, while the Amazon Music Sessions at La La Land return with an expanded electronic and pop artist focus. Other major events include the BIGSOUND River Cruise presented by Dark Arts Global and Chameleon Touring Systems, Select Music’s 20 Year Birthday Party, and the highly anticipated Oztix BIGSOUND Party featuring Kisschasy, The Southern River Band and Day We Ran at The Brightside.
New additions for 2025 include the official BIGSOUND Delegate Hub presented by Oztix, taking over the foyer of Fortitude Music Hall. This dedicated space will provide quiet working areas, afternoon coffee service, device charging stations and Conversation Corner sessions. Delegates will also receive free morning coffee through Tixel’s Coffee Card voucher system.
The BIGSOUND Content House makes its debut this year, specifically programmed for content creators and media professionals. Partners including Spotify AU/NZ and CLIPPED TV will offer workshops, activations and creation labs, with TikTok taking over Content House on Thursday 4 September for masterclasses and networking events.
International buyers and speakers joining the program include representatives from major festivals and organisations across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Spain and New Zealand. The artist lineup spans all Australian states and territories plus New Zealand, featuring acts including Hatchie, Polish Club, Kaiit, George Alice, Wafia and many emerging talents across multiple genres.
Delegate passes are currently available at second release pricing until 5 August, with all-access passes starting at $624 for QMusic members. Early bird festival tickets remain available until 31 July at $79 for three-night access.
