By popular demand, the Big Strings Festival is back for its second year! Presented by Artist-Bookings, in conjunction with the City of Melbourne and J&J Events, this year’s Big Strings festival will bring Melbourne’s finest string musicians right into the heart of Docklands – for one day only this 17 December 2022!
This free event combines illustrious music with boutique performance, showcasing some of the finest musicians Victoria has to offer. Over 30 artists across 5 locations will perform re-imagined classics, covers, originals and maybe even a carol or two! Head here for a full event program.
Focused around the iconic laneways of Victoria Green Docklands, Big Strings Festival encourages you to explore the many popup locations before settling down to watch and listen to major acts playing the main stage. Perfect for music-lovers of all ages – bring the family! Big Strings from 12pm- 5pm and Big Voices (Opera in the Park) from 7pm -10 pm on Saturday 17th of December, 2022.
