A message from Blunted, Big Daddy Kane’s tour promoters, stated:
We regret to advise that the BIG DADDY KANE Australian Tour scheduled for October 2011, has been cancelled. Due to a clash in scheduling between show offers in the North American and Australian markets the artist’s management have decided at this stage not to continue with the current time frame for BDK’s first ever visit to Australia. Blunted endeavoured over the weekend to renegotiate with BDK’s management and reschedule dates however at this stage an agreement on a suitable period can not be agreed upon, as such BDK’s management have decided to cancel the current tour leaving Blunted in the end with the sad task of announcing the cancellation of the Australian Tour. This is an unfortunate result for BDK’s Australian fan’s organisational staff and promoters who have put immeasurable effort and countless hours into making this tour the best it could be. However look out for future announcements as we continue to be apart of the rich Hip Hop culture that beats in Australia. Blunted.
